Job Summary
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customer accounts, managing existing client relationships, and promoting analytical instrumentation solutions within an assigned territory. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, presenting technical solutions, developing proposals, closing business, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The position requires a consultative sales approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generate and develop new customer accounts.
Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
Identify and qualify sales opportunities.
Present products and technical solutions to executives, managers, and technical personnel.
Develop and prepare sales proposals.
Negotiate and close business opportunities.
Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations.
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Support business growth initiatives within the assigned territory.
Travel as required for meetings, demonstrations, installations, and customer support activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales objectives.
Requirements
Requirements
Experience in technical sales preferred.
Knowledge of analytical instrumentation or related scientific products is beneficial.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships effectively.
Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
