- Senior Wealth Management Advisor / Portfolio Manager
Description
Overview
An established Colorado wealth management practice is seeking one or more experienced advisors to help build a collaborative regional office within a national advisor platform.
The existing practice manages approximately $135 million in client assets across approximately 60 high-net-worth relationships, with strong retention, deep planning relationships, and an active investment-management process.
This opportunity is intended for an advisor with at least $25 million in portable AUM who is interested in maintaining ownership of their own practice while benefiting from the advantages of a larger local organization.
Participating advisors will have the opportunity to share office resources, marketing initiatives, investment expertise, technology, business-development efforts, and client coverage while preserving their own client relationships.
There may also be the opportunity to acquire an ownership interest in the existing practice through staged equity purchases as responsibilities expand and mutual fit is established.
The selected advisor will also work directly with the platform's CIO on investment research, portfolio construction, trading, and market strategy.
Opportunity
This regional partnership is designed to provide advisors with the benefits of scale while allowing them to continue operating successful practices.
Participating advisors will have the opportunity to:
Maintain ownership of their existing client relationships
Share operational resources
Collaborate on marketing and business development throughout Colorado and nationally
Provide backup coverage for one another's clients
Leverage shared investment research and portfolio-management resources
Utilize modern pre-approved AI and technology tools to improve efficiency
Participate in future recruiting and expansion of the regional office
Explore staged equity purchases and long-term ownership opportunities within the existing practice
This is not a traditional employee position or a full-practice merger. It is a partnership opportunity designed to create a stronger regional presence while preserving advisor independence and creating optional long-term ownership opportunities.

The ideal candidate will:
Have at least $25 million in portable AUM
At least 7 years experience serving as an investment advisor representative
Maintains an active Series 65
Be highly relationship-oriented and experienced serving high-net-worth clients
Have meaningful investment, portfolio-management, and trading experience

Partnership Structure
Each advisor will continue to own and manage their existing practice while benefiting from a shared regional platform.

Staged purchases of equity in the existing practice
Participation in future regional growth initiatives
The objective is to create a collaborative Colorado advisory organization that provides greater scale, stronger client service, enhanced investment capabilities, and flexible ownership opportunities without requiring advisors to merge or relinquish control of their own businesses.
