| Job Summary | The Respiratory Services Materials Management Technician assists respiratory services staff in meeting patient care needs. The technician cleans equipment and prepares it for use by the next patient. The technician performs high level disinfection when required. The technician monitors oxygen tank storage locations to ensure that accreditation standards are met. The technician responds to clinician requests for equipment and supplies. The technician monitors the various respiratory therapy storage spaces to ensure they are kept clean and clutter free. They work with materials management and the RT Technical/Quality supervisor to resolve stocking and storage issues. They monitor the available supply of respiratory devices and support staff therapists in locating equipment of all types. Assists the T/Q supervisor and Clinical engineering with locating items due for Preventative maintenance. This is an evening position. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will possess the following: exceptional customer service, planning and organization, time management, attention to detail, listening, and communication skills. In addition, this individual needs to have the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines. |

| Preferred Education/Experience | High school diploma and at least six months of inventory, stocking, receiving, warehousing, or related experience; knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; and experience using point-of-use systems preferred. |
