Silver Creek Valley Country Club, located in San Jose, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity of a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator oversees the club's digital presence and ensures cohesive, timely, and engaging communication across all platforms. This role is responsible for executing content strategy, updating the website, managing social channels, and supporting brand integrity.Compensation
- Hourly $27-$35/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes marketing tactics and strategy that enhances the awareness of the Silver Creek Valley CC brand and communicates the story and ongoing execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan, working collaboratively with onsite club management, Board and Committees, and the Troon Corporate team.
- Drives the content development and facilitates production of all membership-related materials, including but not limited to prospecting, onboarding, and retention efforts.
- Leads the marketing efforts outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan, such as paid digital efforts, new homeowner outreach initiatives, realtor relations, etc.
- Manages Silver Creek Valley CC social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and ensures delivery of consistent, high-quality and engaging content, reflective of the Silver Creek Valley CC brand.
- Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments.
- Produce visual and written content (photos, video, copy) for internal and external distribution.
- Monitor analytics for web and social channels; provide performance reports.
- Develops a communication plan that outlines all Club communications from emails to newsletters.
- Designs and executes a monthly Club newsletter that features content from each department.
- Engaged with the Silver Creek Valley CC website platform in the following capacities:
- Update calendars, events, menus, hours of operation, event albums etc.
- Coordinates, edits, and sends email communications on behalf of Club Departments, Boards, and Committees.
- Coordinates content collection and acts as the lead point on the website functionality and performance.
- Contributes to the overall success of the club and community by consistently interacting with members, coworkers, and management with a positive attitude and focus on the culture of hospitality, leadership and mutual respect.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Sales Director.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college, Business & Marketing preferred
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CMS platforms, and social scheduling tools.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong eye for design and visual storytelling
- Strong organizational skills: time management, attention to detail, ability to self-start
- Able to multi-task and produce high-quality results with strict deadlines
- Team player: ability to work in cooperatively with other departments, committees and Board to attain club goals.
- Proficient on social media platforms; experience with ad creation and campaign management is preferred
- Familiarity with Club system software is preferred
