SummaryHyatt Shared Service Center is seeking a Manager - Finance Evolution to join our Finance Evolution team. In this role, you will provide leadership for a portfolio of continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives that modernize finance through innovation, automation, data, and technology. Working closely with Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency and enable better business decisions.
As the Manager of Finance Evolution, you will oversee a portfolio of continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives, establishing priorities, managing roadmaps, measuring outcomes, and ensuring solutions deliver sustainable business value. You will champion continuous improvement by leveraging emerging technologies, enterprise data platforms, analytics, and best practices to eliminate manual work, improve the colleague experience, and create capacity for higher-value analysis. Success in this role requires the ability to influence across all levels of the organization, build strong partnerships, foster collaboration, and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment.

The Role: The Manager - Finance Evolution is responsible for leading Hyatt's Finance Evolution program by overseeing a portfolio of continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives, with a primary focus on the Shared Service Center while supporting finance transformation initiatives across the broader corporate finance organization. This role partners closely with Finance, Technology, Shared Service Center teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, establish priorities, and deliver innovative solutions that simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve the colleague experience.
Responsibilities
Lead Finance Evolution Portfolio:
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives from ideation through implementation, ensuring alignment with Finance priorities and strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain the Finance Evolution roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, complexity, and organizational impact.
- Develop business cases, define success metrics, and measure realized business value for Finance Evolution initiatives.
- Manage project governance, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
Drive Process Transformation:
- Analyze current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") finance processes to identify opportunities and design innovative, scalable solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance the colleague experience.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and partner with technology teams to deliver sustainable automation, dashboards, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and evaluate opportunities to improve finance processes through automation, AI, analytics, and enterprise data platforms.
Lead Organizational Change:
- Lead organizational change by developing communication, training, and adoption strategies that foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
- Ensure standard operating procedures, process documentation, and governance artifacts remain current.
- Measure benefits realization and continuously monitor implemented solutions to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.
Leadership:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship that fosters accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive alignment and successful delivery.

Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience leading finance transformation, continuous improvement, process optimization, or business transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and driving organizational change across multiple business functions.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
Additional Comments and Requirements
- Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Power Automate).
- Experience with enterprise analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms and data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake).
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Hyperion, iScala).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint,
- Hospitality, shared services, or multi-entity finance experience preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or continuous improvement experience preferred.

- To work remotely, you must be able to adhere to our IT requirements, including, but not limited to the following: High Speed Internet service required. Colleagues will be required to provide Hyatt with adequate certification of service from provider (upon request).
