Are you an experienced fine jewelry sales professional with an established network of independent jewelry retailers? Our client is seeking a highly connected Independent Sales Representative to expand its national retail footprint. This fully remote, commission-based opportunity allows you to live anywhere in the United States while building your own book of business, managing your own schedule, and representing a respected fine jewelry manufacturer.
What You'll Do
As an Independent Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing sales by developing new retail partnerships while strengthening relationships with existing accounts across the United States.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop new business opportunities with independent jewelry retailers nationwide.
- Leverage your existing network and industry relationships to generate new accounts.
- Maintain and grow long-term relationships through exceptional customer service and consistent follow-up.
- Travel extensively to visit retailers, conduct in-store presentations, host trunk shows, and attend industry events.
- Present curated fine jewelry assortments based on each retailer's customer demographics and business needs.
- Serve as a trusted business partner by providing merchandising recommendations and product expertise.
- Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
- Share market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback with leadership.
- Represent the brand professionally throughout all customer interactions.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated sales professional who enjoys developing business and building lasting partnerships.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A proven network of independent jewelry retailers and/or Continental Buying Group (CBG) members.
- A successful track record selling fine jewelry in a commission-driven environment.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong merchandising instincts and the ability to recommend assortments tailored to each retailer.
- Self-motivation, organization, and the ability to work independently.
- Professionalism and confidence representing a luxury brand.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of successful fine jewelry wholesale sales experience.
- Existing relationships with independent jewelry retailers required.
- Experience working with Continental Buying Group (CBG) members is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 70% or more throughout the United States.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Compensation
Commission: 8% to 10% of net sales received.
Additional compensation includes:
- Potential draw against future commissions.
- Approved business travel expenses reimbursed.
- Uncapped earning potential with significant opportunity to grow income based on performance.
