Description
The Head of North America Proposal & Content Management leads the regional delivery of institutional RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) to support investment management growth. This role is accountable for ensuring high-quality, timely, and compliant responses that effectively represent the firm’s capabilities to clients and consultants.
The position oversees day-to-day operations of the proposals team, managing capacity, prioritization, and performance in a deadline-driven environment. The role acts as a key escalation point for complex or high-priority submissions and partners closely with Sales, Client Coverage, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Investment teams to align messaging and meet client requirements.
In addition to delivery oversight, the role drives continuous improvement through process enhancements, tooling adoption, and implementation of global standards. The leader builds strong relationships across a matrixed organization, provides performance reporting, and contributes to scalable operating models.
This role requires deep RFP/DDQ expertise, strong knowledge of investment management, and proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams within a global, regulated environment.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have 7–10 years of experience managing institutional RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) within asset management or financial services. A strong understanding of investment management concepts, products, and asset classes is required, along with familiarity with institutional clients and consultant-driven processes.
Proven people leadership experience is essential, including the ability to lead, develop, and manage high-performing teams in a deadline-driven environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, and capacity management skills to support high-volume workflows and meet service-level expectations.
The role requires the ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, global organization, partnering with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Investments. Strong communication, writing, and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail are critical to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Experience leading process improvements, tooling enhancements, and change initiatives is highly valued. Candidates must be comfortable balancing regional execution with global standards while driving efficiency, quality, and scalability. A bachelor’s degree is required; a finance or investment-related background is preferred.
