Job Description
The FP&A Team Leader - Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) is a key leadership role within the Global Analytics & Insights (GA&I) organization. GA&I centralizes, standardizes, and optimizes FP&A operations across the enterprise, enabling finance teams and business partners to focus on value-added analysis, decision support, and business impact.
Reporting to the Manager, Global Analytics & Insights - Global Sales & Marketing, this role operates within a global team and partners primarily with finance and business leaders in the United States.
The Team Leader is responsible for leading a small team of Senior Analysts supporting forecasting, reporting, financial analysis, and business performance management for the GSM organization.
In addition to owning standard reporting, causals, forecasting, and analytical activities, the Team Leader acts as a transformation leader, driving the evolution of reporting and analytics through technology, standardized processes, centralized operating models, and the adoption of AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and insight generation.
Beyond operational delivery, the Team Leader is expected to help shape the future of Monterrey FP&A campus. This includes developing talent, building organizational capability, identifying opportunities for improvement, and bringing forward independent ideas and a clear vision for the continued growth and evolution of the team. The successful candidate will be a leader who influences direction, drives change, and creates impact rather than simply executing established processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and planning activities for assigned GSM functions.
- Own the quarterly Forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes for assigned GSM functions.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
- Drive automation, simplification, standardization, and AI adoption to improve efficiency, data quality, and insights.
- Partner across the Global Analytics & Insights organization to promote scalable, consistent, and best-in-class finance processes.
- Act as a change leader, helping shape the growth, capabilities, and future direction of the Monterrey FP&A campus.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or related,
- The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Minimum of five years' experience in Accounting or Finance (FP&A preferred),
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial results and develop key takeaways and insights,
- Demonstrated execution excellence, consistently delivering high-quality results in a timely manner,
- Proven partner: results-oriented, resourceful, service-driven professional,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels,
- Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated success in identifying opportunities, and driving process and productivity improvements,
- Working knowledge of SAP, EPM or other financial systems.
