Description

Rep. Raul Ruiz, M.D (CA-25) is seeking an experienced fundraiser to join his team as Finance Director for the 2026 election cycle.

Responsibilities: 

-Develop and execute campaign finance plan for the 2026 cycle. 
-Oversee finance team of consultants and interns. 
-Direct fundraising responsibilities, including staffing candidate call time, managing events, and overseeing the finance plan and budget and National Travel. 
-Manage programs for new donor research/outreach and existing donor engagement. 
-Track donor data and other finance metrics; ensure accurate reporting. 
-Coordinate scheduling and logistics for fundraising activities. 
-Other tasks as needed. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

-Minimum of 1-2 full cycles of campaign finance experience on a Congressional race or larger; experience managing candidate call time and planning high-dollar fundraising events. 
-Working knowledge of campaign finance law and FEC reporting requirements. 
-Proficiency with NGP, ActBlue, and Google Drive & Excel.
-Superior written and verbal communication skills. 
-Ability to balance competing tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail. 
-Experience directly managing/staffing a principal. 
-Working knowledge of PAC and digital fundraising.
