Description
Dana Ford Lincoln, a leading dealership known for high-volume sales and exceptional customer service, is seeking a skilled Commercial and Fleet Sales Manager to lead our commercial truck and fleet vehicle sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts, generating new business, and ensuring dealership profitability while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, market analysis, and relationship management to support our growth in the commercial vehicle sector.
Requirements
- Actively involved in all activities related to truck and fleet commercial sales to achieve goals regarding market share, unit sales, revenues, gross profits, expenses, and department profit as outlined in the dealership’s marketing and business plan.
- Responsible for customer calls, quotes, sales closings, managing customer relations, pricing strategies, and OEM fleet orders.
- Collaborate daily with the Finance and Insurance department. Buy, sell, and trade trucks as needed. Stay informed about current and projected market conditions.
- Manage and develop leads through prospecting and networking efforts.
- Oversee logistics and commercial truck maintenance operations.
- Research model availability, optional equipment, features, accessories, and remain knowledgeable about new products.
- Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales.
- Lead negotiations with fleet clients to secure profitable deals while maintaining customer trust.
- Develop strategic plans to expand market presence in the commercial vehicle sector.
- Train and mentor sales team members to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
