Citrus Publishing, Inc., publisher of the Citrus County Chronicle, is looking for a Classified Sales & Circulation Customer Service Representative to join our Inverness office team.

This is an office-based position focused on helping local businesses and individuals with their classified advertising needs while providing friendly, dependable customer service. The position will also help develop new business from local small businesses and work with subscribers on circulation needs.

What Youll Do

• Assist customers with placing classified and local advertising
• Answer customer questions by phone, email and in person
• Enter and manage advertising orders accurately
• Build relationships with local businesses and encourage repeat business
• Contact prospective customers and develop new business
• Handle basic administrative duties related to classified advertising and subscriber customer service

What Were Looking For

• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, professional and dependable
• Strong communication and people skills
• Comfortable talking with customers by phone and in person
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable making outbound calls
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Advertising or media experience is a plus, but not required. Well train the right person.
