St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students each year. Requirements
The School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing to begin Fall 2027. We will consider all subspecialties of marketing. This position carries a 3–3 teaching load and involves teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses across multiple modalities (in-person, online, and hybrid). The School embraces a teacherscholar model and prides itself on a hightouch approach. We are AACSB accredited and seek to deliver applied business learning anchored in community engagement and social responsibility. Faculty are expected to contribute meaningfully across teaching, research, and service while actively engaging with students and the broader Fisher community.
The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate marketing courses as needed by the Department; assess student learning and progress.
- Maintain an active research agenda and produce original, disciplinebased publications in peerreviewed journals listed in ABDC or Cabell’s, in alignment with AACSB “Scholarly Academic” standards.
- Advise and mentor students and support recruitment and retention efforts.
- Adopt new teaching techniques and engage students through interactive methods, experiential learning, and other innovative instructional practices.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of courses, programs, and School initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, alumni, and the business community to advance the School’s mission.
- Provide service to the Department, School, University, profession, and broader community, and share expertise through scholarly and professional outlets.
