Growing together.The Department of Weight & Lifestyle Medicine at Atrius Health is looking for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) physician who is ABOM-certified to join our growing team. We are a collaborative, innovative group of clinicians, passionate about helping patients achieve healthier lives through evidence-based obesity and lifestyle medicine. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct outpatient care for patients with obesity and related conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating behavioral, nutritional, pharmacologic, and bariatric surgical therapies
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioner, dietitians, and partnerships with psychologists and surgeons
- Provide 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities
- Stay current on advancements in obesity medicine and bariatric care

Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- ABOM Certification
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $238,500 to $392,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
