Skills and Competencies
- Extensive credit analysis experience within Public Finance
- Experience with Project & Infrastructure Finance (PIF) credit analysis
- Deep working knowledge of credit methodologies and financial analysis
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Education
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus

Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional reviews of rating methodologies
- Serve as subject-matter expert on Public Finance and PIF
- Evaluate analytical consistency and methodology application
- Provide challenge and guidance during methodology implementation
- Assess emerging risks and market developments
- Collaborate with senior leaders and analytical teams
- Contribute to thought leadership and sector insights
- Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives

About the Team
The Methodology Review Group (MRG) is responsible for maintaining the integrity, consistency, and transparency of Moody's rating methodologies, supporting high-quality analytical outcomes across the organization.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $233,700.00 - $338,850.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
