The Vice President of Product Management at Quantum Corporation will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio, driving innovation in data storage, protection, and management solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping Quantum's product roadmap to meet evolving market demands and customer needs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and own Quantum's product vision and strategy across all product lines.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Identify emerging technologies and market trends to inform product direction.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle: concept, design, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
- Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership and product teams.
- Market & Customer Insights
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities.
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements to influence product decisions.
- Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Performance & Metrics
- Define and track KPIs for product success, including revenue growth, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Present product performance insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 15+ years in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios in technology or data solutions.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Deep understanding of storage, data management, and emerging technologies.

Anticipated Base Salary Earnings Range: $250,000 - $275,000
The above pay range represents Quantum's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Pay within or outside of the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, knowledge/education, skills/abilities, internal equity, and budgetary considerations.
