POSITION SUMMARY:
Sr. Channel Marketing Manager will collaborates across the organization to develop the best way to get product into our consumer's hands while meeting the financial objectives of Petmate and our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Channel Strategy Development:
- Identify and assess potential channel partners
- Develop and implement channel marketing plans and strategies
- Create channel-specific marketing materials and campaigns
- Design and implement channel incentives, promotions, and loyalty programs
- Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives
- Provide support and training to channel partners
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels
- Performance Measurement and Optimization:
- Track and analyze channel performance metrics
- Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
- Manage channel marketing budgets effectively
- Coordination and Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams, such as sales, product & brand marketing, project management, sourcing, demand planning, sales operations, internal agency
- Communicate effectively with channel partners and internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely execution of programs and campaigns
Skills and Qualifications:
- Marketing and Sales Experience: Proven experience in marketing, sales, or channel management
- Channel Knowledge: Understanding of different distribution channels and their dynamics
- Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with partners
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Analytical Skills: Ability to track, analyze, and interpret data to measure performance and make data-driven decisions
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles and financial concepts, ownership of P&L.
- Dealing with Conflict: Ability to manage through differing and unpopular opinions
- Comfort around Higher Management: Ability to communicate with leadership team with ease and concise messaging
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree Required
- 6 -7 years' experience in Channel Marketing, Product Management or similarly related field
