CIB Sales & Marketing professionals help corporate and institutional clients navigate the breadth of the J.P. Morgan's product offerings across Markets and Investor Services. The teams focus on matching the firm's resources to our clients' needs. We do that through our traditional sales force that is organized by product, sector and geography, as well as through our e-Sales professionals who are spearheading the build out of our electronic offering, including the development of J.P. Morgan Markets and JPM Transact. Clients also have access to dedicated structuring professionals who generate actionable trade ideas and develop unique solutions that address specific client requirements.If you are passionate with a strong desire to set and achieve challenging goals, you have found the right team.
As a Vice President in Sales, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing investor relationships for the bank primarily in China. You will be working with our partners in Trading, Structuring, DCM, Syndicate and Research to provide comprehensive client coverage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Trading, Structuring, DCM, Syndicate and Research teams to provide comprehensive client coverage on Macro and credit products
- Understand the drivers of relevant markets and establish a high degree of competence with clients around executing trades in primary and secondary markets
- Pitching ideas, providing market updates and executing trades across a wide range of clients (banks, securities companies, asset managers, insurance companies)
- Understands the firm's approach and policies for managing risks and comply with the applicable legal/regulatory rules
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Macro or Credit sales covering China / HK institutional clients, preferably with experience in mobilizing onshore franchise
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other disciplines
- Knowledge and experience in flow and structured products: FX forward / option; IRS, rates option; EM / DM credit bond, private placement, securitized product (CLO / MBS), structured note; TRS, collateral swap, bond forward, structured repo;
- Proficiency in identifying market drivers with keen interest in learning about other products to develop a cross-product skill set
- Team player who is detail oriented with a disciplined approach to process and quality control
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal partners
