Description
Leidos' National Solutions Business Area within the Intelligence Sector has an immediate opening for a Project Financial Analyst, Lead.In this role you will work with the best and brightest employees around the country in creating innovative all-encompassing solutions for our programs. We are seeking a forward-thinking candidate who combines strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in process automation and a demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence (AI). This role will play a key part in modernizing financial operations, improving reporting efficiency, and identifying areas to leverage automation and AI-driven insights across the portfolio.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable working with data and systems, and motivated to continuously improve financial processes using emerging technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify, design, and implement process automation solutions within finance workflows such as reporting, reconciliations, and forecasting.
- Develop dashboards, models, and reporting tools to enhance data visibility and decision making.
- Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, budgeting, forecasting, managing subcontractor hours, costs, and funding needs, as well as analysis of all contract cost and financial data.
- Strong organization, analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Being a business partner to program PMs providing well rounded financial analysis to help drive program decisions and understand potential impacts
- Serves as liaisons between the Program Team and cross-functional departments to perform financial research
- Manage monthly invoicing process, to include all aspects of AR (aged AR, reconciliation of unbilled balances, rate adjustments, cash collections, etc.)
- Support monthly closing of financial key measurements (Revenue, Operating Income, Operating Cash Flow, etc...) and provide variance analysis.
- Support ad hoc requests by internal management and external customers
- Ability to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational levels
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of comprehensive Program Finance experience.
- Hands-on experience in process automation and a demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence (AI).
- Prior government contracting experience is required and familiar with multiple contract types.
- Must have good communication skills written and verbal.
- Must have strong Microsoft excel experience.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to identify financial drivers and perform high level and detailed analysis.
- Able to work successfully in a team environment.
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as: CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Insight.
- Demonstrated experience automating financial processes using tools such as advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Python, RPA Platforms, or ERP workflow tools.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
