Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Sales Administrator for their Power Systems Division (PSD) in Richmond, Virginia. The PSD Sales Administrator is responsible for managing/invoicing "single-event" miscellaneous sales, managing CAT discounts; fielding requests for inventoried generator sets, maintaining inventories, and providing departmental and interdepartmental support as needed. Seeking candidates with a minimum of five years' sales support experience in a sales industry environment.

Requirements for the PSD Sales Administrator position include:

• Thorough understanding of power systems products and services, benefits, features, and applications.
• Must possess ability to analyze and evaluate data to develop quotes.
• Must be proficient with MS-Office applications.
• Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent customer relations skills.
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Must have an attention to detail.

Physical requirements must be met for the PSD Sales Administrator job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
