Description
The Director of Field Sales leads the strategic direction, execution, and performance of field sales in Texas for Ripley’s Worldwide entertainment. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through innovative lead generation, business development, and enhanced group sales strategies for Hawaiian Falls Waterparks and all Texas based Ripley’s attractions venues. A key collaborator with venue Teams, this leader ensures alignment between campaigns and sales initiatives to maximize impact and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Strategy
Develop and execute regional field sales strategies to drive attendance and revenue across venues.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including corporate events, group sales, and strategic partnerships.
Lead Generation & Business Development
Implement scalable lead generation programs that align with marketing campaigns and sales goals.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects through data-driven targeting and outreach.
Group Sales Optimization
Enhance go-to-market marketing strategies for group sales, including pricing, packaging, and promotional tactics.
Lead innovation in group sales offerings to meet evolving customer needs and market trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with venue teams to align campaigns with sales objectives and maximize conversion.
Work with venue operations, finance, and corporate marketing to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Sales Operations & CRM Oversight
Lead the Sales effort by developing and maintaining sales enablement tools, reporting dashboards, and training programs.
Oversee the administration, optimization, and strategic use of CRM platform to drive efficiency, visibility, and performance across the sales organization.
Sales Support & Event Execution
Develop and deploy tools, training, and resources to support the sales team in delivering exceptional client experiences from start to end during the client sales journey.
Oversee the execution of high-impact events and activations, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Requirements
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in sales leadership, preferably in entertainment, hospitality, or theme parks. Proven success in revenue generation and team development.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
Skills:
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools
Deep understanding of regional market dynamics and customer behavior
