Description
Embark on a dynamic career as a Business & Strategic Collection Management Analyst, reporting directly to the Business & Strategic Planning Manager of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection. As a key member of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection team, you will play an integral role in supporting a broad range of functions, including project management, operations, analytics and metricAs a Business & Strategic Collection Management Analyst within JPMorgan Chase Art Collection team, you will report directly to the Business & Strategic Planning Manager of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection. As a key member of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection team, you will play an integral role in supporting a broad range of functions, including project management, operations, analytics, and metrics, vendor relations, and controls and risk management. You will contribute to the successful execution of global projects by assisting the Global Head and collaborating closely with curatorial, business management, and operations teams to achieve strategic program objectives. .
Job responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate a diverse range of projects, including Global Real Estate (GRE), installations and deinstallations, pedestal fabrication, conservation efforts, and other special projects.
- Direct project planning and execution across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery and in accordance with organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough research and executive communications; establish, cultivate, and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors for GRE projects.
- Liaise with external partners to facilitate project requirements and uphold standards of excellence; maintain the program's inbox, ensuring prompt, professional, and effective correspondence. Manage communications pertaining to operations
- Implement and support strategic initiatives to improve the care, organization, of the corporate art collection
- Oversee the cataloguing, inventory, and tracking of all collection items, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate the movement, storage, and display of artworks including logistics for installations, deinstallations.
- Monitor environmental conditions and security measures to safeguard the collection, working with facilities and security teams as needed.
- Assist with condition reporting, conservation assessments, and the scheduling of maintenance or restoration activities.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to collections care, handling, and documentation.
- Provide project management assistance to the Global Head, working collaboratively with curatorial, business management, and operations teams to achieve program objectives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor of Arts in Art History required.
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Exceptional research and writing abilities.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with collections management systems such as TMS is required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within the fields of art, history, or cultural programs.
