Jacobs is seeking an Aviation Project Controls/Management Intern to join our Building and Infrastructure – Transportation team in Los Angeles, CA in Summer 2026, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide. If you are an excellent communicator, with exceptional time management/ organization skills and a strong interest in aviation, this may be the perfect fit for you!
This is an exciting opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and apply your academic knowledge to real-world transportation/aviation challenges. You will assist our Aviation Program Management Team in various aspects.
As a key member of our collaborative program support team, you’ll will have the chance to work on exciting and challenging projects, supporting teams with budgeting, forecasting, change management, cost management, project budget analysis, project earned value measurement, risk management, scheduling, cashflow and reporting tools.
Leveraging your organizational and time management skills, you will assist the overall program cost controls, schedule management and reporting function by providing updates, and presentations at all levels of management.

Requirements
In pursuit of an Associate's degree or a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or other related degree.
Local to Los Angeles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 or higher GPA
Previous internship experience in project management, business administration, project controls, or other related field
Skills with Excel, Databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development
Experience in project budgeting and planning
Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling software experience
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
