ASCA Finance and Administration Manager (Remote)
Position Overview
The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Administration Manager to oversee financial operations, accounting, bookkeeping, administrative functions, and HR coordination. This fully remote role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, efficient administrative processes, and support for the CEO.
ASCA is the leading professional organization supporting swim coaches in the United States and around the world. ASCA provides education, certification, professional development, and advocacy to strengthen coaches and the sport of swimming.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain GAAP-based accounting records in QuickBooks; manage bookkeeping and daily transactions
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Assist with annual budgeting and coordinate annual audit processes
Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, 1099 filings, business registrations, and compliance requirements
Record income from third party registration and AMS software
Maintain governance records including storing Board minutes, meeting documents, and official organizational records
Manage contracts and other key organizational files
Support HR processes including onboarding and personnel records management
Contribute to process improvement and organizational efficiency initiatives
Support other administrative or operational projects as assigned by the CEO
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3–5 years of nonprofit finance or accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial practices
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Excellent organization, accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to work independently in a remote setting
