Company Overview

Teton County Emergency Management (TCEM) is a division of Jackson Hole Fire/EMS and is located in beautiful Teton County, Wyoming. TCEM’s responsibilities encompass all phases of emergency management: Preparedness, Response, Recovery, and Mitigation for Teton County. TCEM also provides these services for the Town of Jackson through an Emergency Management resolution. TCEM coordinates with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as non-governmental entities, to develop, maintain, and implement various emergency plans. TCEM offices are in the Teton County Emergency Operations Center, which the division is responsible for maintaining and operating during emergencies. TCEM also provides training to and develops emergency exercises for citizens and first responders. The division is staffed with two full-time personnel: the Emergency Manager and an Emergency Management Coordinator or Specialist.

Company History

Originally formed in the days of Civil Defense, Teton County Emergency Management maintains its roots in whole-community emergency preparedness.
